Synchro MIG 200 - is a welding machine for MIG/MAG and MMA welding from the "Self Control" series in an improved version. For 5 kg wire roll.
Welding current adjustment is done in two ways.
One is with only one potentiometer in the range of 30÷200A. Hence the name Synchro MIG - synchronous adjustment of arc voltage and wire feed speed.
Unlike other devices of the same type with synergistic control of voltage and wire speed (programmed ratio of the two variables) here the device itself determines the two values, looking for the optimal version of the voltage and wire speed.
The other way is "manual" adjustment. In manual adjustment, the tension is set according to the thickness of the workpiece to be welded and then the feed rate is adjusted according to the set tension so that the machine enters the mode. Setup is as with a standard wire feeder.
The machine can also work in the MMA (manual arc welding) method. Because of the features it has, hot start, anti sticking function and Arc Force function to dynamically adjust the arc for easy ignition, it successfully welds rutile and basic base (steel) electrodes. It can weld stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron, copper and other non-ferrous metals.
NEW! "WAVE PULSE" - This is a function in which a pulsation of the welding arc is obtained by automatically changing the minimum and set current. Being able to adjust the duration of the two currents relative to each other. This feature is useful when welding on a vertical or ceiling, thus preventing weld pool runoff. It is also useful for novice welders because the welding process becomes slower.
NEW! "TIG" - It is possible to add a function for welding by "TIG" method. As it can be used to weld all metals WITHOUT aluminum. The functions it has are:
- Welding current - 10-200A.
Contact ignition - ignition of the welding arc by touching and separating the tungsten electrode to the workpiece to be welded.
Secondary current - in addition to the main welding current we have another feature we have developed, a second current or hand pulse. This represents a second current that is set by the machine. It is activated by a second button on the welding hose handle. This is a very handy option for beginner welders and/or when welding workpieces requiring caution. We ignite the arc having set a base current so that we are at the limit of melting the welding material and forming a weld bath. At the point when we want to create a weld bath and feed in additional material, we press the back of the button, thus switching to a second higher current set by us, a weld bath is created and material can be added. When we decide we have had enough we release the second button, the machine goes back to the first current, the material cools slightly but does not extinguish the weld arc. When we decide again to feed additional material, we press the second button again. In this way we form the pulses with which to weld, and here we do not need to "chase" the welding bath, because we determine when what happens. This is a very useful feature for welding workpieces of different thicknesses, setting one current to be relative to the thickness of one workpiece and the other current relative to the other workpiece. It is also useful when welding pipe.
Smooth decay - setting the time for the welding current to drop after the process stops. This is a very necessary feature in TIG welding. It avoids craters in the weld seam and also burnout free finish. - Blowing with shielding gas - after stopping the process is fixed at 3 sec. If we want the time to be longer, after stopping the welding process and before the expiration of these 3 sec. we press the back button (second current), the gas will continue to flow until the button is punched. This way we decide ourselves how long it takes for the gas to leak. Because when welding on high currents we need a bigger leak, but at the same time if we only want to attach on these currents, the long leak is not needed and will only use up the gas bottle.
