2GaS Mixer - A mixer designed to mix two gases and produce a third. If you have a bottle of argon (Ar) and a bottle of carbon dioxide (CO2), you can easily get a corgon mixture (80%Ar and 20%CO2). This way you don't have to purchase a third cylinder that contains this mixture. The use of corgon gas, in MIG/MAG welding, contributes to much better machine performance and significantly reduces the metal spatter produced during welding. As for the precise adjustment for the low percentage of one of the gases, flow meters with 10 times greater accuracy than that of the main gas are used.
It is quite common for the percentage of the two gases in the cylinder to be different with different gas suppliers and consequently for there to be a difference in the welding process. Therefore, with this mixer, you can determine the percentage of one gas and the other yourself. You can make it the same every time. It is only necessary to connect from the reducing valves of the two gases we want to mix, to the two nozzles (inAr) and (inCO2), on the rear panel of the mixer. The mixed gas exits at the (MIX) nozzle. Adjusting its percentage is done by adjusting flow meters placed on the front panel of the mixer. If you use the mixer to regulate only one gas there is no need to close the second inlet. The mixer has protection against the return of output pressure to the inlet.
The mixer is compact and easy to operate without any need for after service. Overall dimensions 245x131x145
