TIG ACDC 330 PULSE is a welding machine for welding by the VIG method, which can weld with direct DC and AC current. The welding current is adjusted smoothly in the range of 10÷330A. As the machine works equally stable at 10A and 330A. The machine has all necessary functions for welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals including aluminium.
Pre Flow - adjusts the pre-blowing time of the shielding gas before starting the process. Adjustment 0.1-1 sec.
Start Amps - Setting the welding arc ignition current 10÷330A. Setting a higher current helps to ignite the arc more easily, but can sometimes cause the workpiece to burn through if the workpiece is overtorqued and a high current is set.
Up Slope - Set the rise time from the ignition current to the welding current. The pulse mode can be adjusted:
Peak Amps - Pulse current adjustment in the range 10÷330A.
Base Amps - base current , the current responsible for maintaining the welding process, lower value of pulse current. Adjustable in the range 5÷95% of pulse current.
Peak On Time - pulse duration - pulse duration, allows you to adjust the weld depth.
Pulse Frequency - the frequency of change of the two currents, pulse and base. In AC mode, (variable voltage at the output of the aluminum welding machine) the parameters can be adjusted:
AC Frequency - AC voltage frequency 40÷200Hz. How often the voltage goes through zero. With increasing frequency the arc becomes more concentrated.
AC Balance - the ratio of the duration of the positive and negative half-period, relative to the passage through zero. Whether to have more "+" or "-" on the handle. When there is more "+" in the handle the apparatus will clean better but will wear the electrode faster. With more "-" it will spare the electrode , but will not clean as well. You have to look for the optimum for the material to be welded, about 50%. The adjustment is in the range 30÷70%.
Down Slope - adjusts the time of the welding current decay after stopping the process 0÷25 sec . This is a very necessary function in TIG welding. It avoids craters in the weld seam and also finish without burn-through.
End Current - the current at which the arc will go out. Adjustment range 10÷330A. This current also helps to prevent craters at the end of the weld.
Post Flow - the blowing with shielding gas after stopping the process. This blowing, prevents oxidation of the weld by air before its expiration. As well as cools the tungsten electrode. The time is determined by the current being welded as well as the duration of the welding. The time is sufficient when after blowing off the tungsten electrode remains light and not dark. Adjustment range: 0÷15s.
The device has HF (non-contact) ignition.
Memory - The device has a memory of the last setting, i.e. after switching the device off and on, the last set parameters are restored. In addition, 10 welding settings are possible to remember.
